What People Are Saying

“When we moved to the area we visited multiple child care facilities to find somewhere for our 2 kiddos (infant and toddler). After months of searching and coming up short, we found KPC. This was the only place I felt that my kids were safe, learning, and loved. This is a place where you feel more like family.”

“Ms. Angi was an incredible preschool teacher to our older son! She showed compassion, understanding, and lots of love to him. Because Z had her, he was ready for Kindergarten. Over the year, I formed a friendship with her that I will forever value. My only regret-my circumstances changed and my younger son couldn't have an opportunity to be her student.”

“Being a single father to an only child had me very nervous about my son starting his school career. I believe I was even more nervous than he was on the first day of school. Mrs Jordan was a huge blessing to us and it became apparent after his first day. Oliver came home and continues to come home with stories and excitement about his days at school. He looks forward to going and always talks about Mrs Jordan. He has shown great progress with his vocabulary and overall intelligence. I believe that Mrs Jordan is a HUGE part of his progress. I would recommend her care and compassion to all students. We are definitely big advocates of Mrs Jordan!”

I could not imagine working in another field. literally I have known this was the right choice for me since I was a little girl - and you know why? Because I had a teacher in the first grade who left a huge impact on my life that was carried with me all throughout my childhood, teenage years and even adulthood .. and that is what I want to do. I want to be able to leave such an positive impact on someone else’s life that it goes with them all throughout the years as they get older .. and maybe even encourage them to get into teaching like I did. I have been working in the early ed field since 2016 .. it was something that I was good at, it was something that I loved doing and last year right before summer .. I thought I was going to have to give up this dream of mine and find some other field to work in .. that is until I found KidZone Preschool & Childcare Ministry and it was as if my prayers were answered, and let me tell you .. I couldn’t be happier that I said YES to KPC and all that it has to offer, because I not only have a job but I also have a second family who loves and supports me through all the good and bad moments .. and that is so special to me.

I love my work family

I love all the families we have

and I love all of the littles, especially the ones in my class!!

“KPC was a huge blessing to our family. They are filling a void for high quality care and early education in Shelby County. Their facility is clean and stocked with toys and art supplies and they do a great job keeping the kids on schedule. The teachers there are personally invested in each child and were great working with our First Steps therapists. The daily communication from teachers is so great with pictures and notes. We really enjoyed the family events they had and fun spirit weeks and themes planned for the kids. I would recommend KPC to anyone seeking a great environment for their children!” - Alyse Deutsch

“I cannot tell you how thankful I am for you guys! Miss Julie has been absolutely wonderful in the mornings. To look back and see her loving on my boy when he is sad I’m leaving warms my heart. It’s amazing to see the change in Marshall of an evening already in just two short days. He has been such a happy kid this week :) SO happy we chose KPC!!!” - KPC Mom

I am tearing up. You all are answers to prayers for us. These three boys have been through so much and to have them around others who love God warms my heart more than you know. God knows what they need and you all are a part of this great plan for them. Thank you again for serving God and loving these children so greatly! I pray they have obeyed and worked well with each other along with the other students.

“Ms. Angi has been a fantastic influence for our son. He went to her class excited because he was going to have fun, but I was excited because he learning in such an authentic way. The knowledge he gleaned from her class has carried over to family conversations in areas we didn’t even expect he would be learning about. Ms. Angi is a blessing to our family and has given our son a valuable educational foundation and a love for hands-on learning.”

Never in a million years would I have thought I would be an assistant teacher. But here we are in 2022 teaching little kiddos that put the biggest smile on my face everyday. I’m so glad I said yes to KPC!

My yes to KPC has changed my life more than I could have ever imagined. This is the very first job I have ever loved to come to every single day. I look forward to seeing my sweet students, getting to love them and teach them daily. These students brighten my day beyond belief! As a little girl playing around my house I always said I wanted to be a teacher but that’s as far as it ever went. I went to school for cosmetology 10 years after high school and my main job between the two was being a stay at home momma! As much as I love my boys, I needed more identity than just momma, for my mental health. Not only saying yes to KPC did I get that but I’ve gained a new relationship with Jesus, a bunch of women to rally around me daily, and students to love and care for daily. Who knew that me being a teacher would actually come true!?
